Sue A. Bryant

Sue was born February 1, 1948 and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was the only daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Harbison. Sue is survived by her beloved husband, devoted sons, Matthew and John, caring daughter-in-law, Samantha, treasured grandchild, Paige Elizabeth and countless other friends and family who knew and loved her.

In her adult life much of Sue’s time and energy was dedicated to raising her two boys and enjoying a long and satisfying career as a Production Manager at Unified Resources Inc., where she worked for 24 years. Sue also managed to find time to travel extensively with her best friend and husband Barry taking cruises and trips to Alaska, Hawaii, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Monaco, Corsica, Madera and Mexico. She also enjoyed music, theater and spending time having fun with close friends. Her greatest joy by far was her granddaughter, Paige Elizabeth Bryant and the knowledge that her next grandbaby would be a boy, Benjamin Pierce Bryant.

Sue touched the lives of many people with her unquestioning acceptance, quiet wisdom and unmistakable sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to remember her by attending a memorial service at 2pm on Friday, July 29th, 2011, at Forrest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, Texas, 77077. The family asks that any memorial gifts be sent as a donation to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org so that a cure may be found.
