Susan Keith Broussard
February 1, 1951- January 15, 2025
In the morning hours of Wednesday, January 15th, sweet Susan went to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving family, spouse Zee Broussard, daughters Sharon Willmon and Laurie Meier, and son in law Bryan Willmon and her precious pups.
As a faithful servant, Susan dedicated her heart and years of service being the hands and feet of Jesus. She shared God’s love with her family, friends, and coworkers through her acts of kindness, selflessness and love. She committed her work and time to non-profit ministry while working for Northwest Academy, Houston’s First Baptist Church, the Houston Read Commission, and most recently the last 18 years at Healthcare for the Homeless Houston. Being a part of these organizations allowed her to live out God's unconditional love for all his children.
Music has always been a vital part of Susan’s worship. Her daughters recall their mom bellowing out worship songs such as Pass it on- It Only Takes a Spark, I Love You Lord and I Lift My Voice. Susan spent every moment of her beautiful life spreading God’s message of love.
Susan instantly became a beloved member upon joining the Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church in 2015, where she and her spouse, Zee, faithfully served. She was often seen sitting in the right-side of the sanctuary supporting Zee as he signed the message and songs for the service. Susan’s beautiful smile and twinkling eyes were a reflection of her heart which she shared with everyone who crossed her path.
Susan Keith Broussard, will be deeply missed by every heart that she touched with her love.
