Susie Cruz Ibarra, age 65, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Susie was the life of the party and a proud Texan. Every vehicle she bought was a truck and she enjoyed dancing tejano music; her favorite artists' being Jay Perez, Pio Trevino, La Mafia and David Lee. Date nights were her favorite nights and she was a known shop-a-holic in her family. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and her favorite color was blue. Susie loved watching parades and during the fourth of July she enjoyed watching fireworks. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids which she loved most of all.
Susie is survived by her husband, Bernabe Alonso; her children Michael, Louis (Lisa), Jessika (Juan), Miriam (Jose) and Victor (Ingrid); her father Mike Cruz; her siblings Mike and James (Yesenia); and her grandchildren Kira, Ellie, Vivian, Joanna, Belinda, Graciela, Leo, Noel, Dlyn and Sebastian.
Susie was preceded in death by her mother Pricilliana Vasquez; her brother Larry and her brother Henrey.
A visitation for Susie will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St.Charles Borromeo, 501 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main, Pearland, TX 77581.

A Susie le encantaba ver los desfiles y durante el 4 de julio disfrutaba viendo los fuegos artificiales. Sobre todo, disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y sus nietos, a quienes amaba más que a nadie.
Susie dejó a su esposo Bernabe Alonso; sus hijos Michael, Louis (Lisa), Jessika (Juan), Miriam (Jose) y Victor (Ingrid); su padre Mike Cruz; sus hermanos Mike y James (Yesenia); y sus nietos Kira, Ellie, Vivian, Joanna, Belinda, Graciela, Leo, Noel, Dlyn y Sebastian.
