Syble Fae Kirsch, 89, of Houston, TX passed away at her home on February 4, 2025. She was born July 3, 1935, in Madison County, TX to the parents of William Crockett and Martha L. Willams Hall. Syble graduated from high school in Madison County.
She met Harry Cummings Kirsch in Houston, as they were both employed by Southwestern Bell. Harry was a lineman, and Syble was a mail clerk. Harry caught eye of Syble when she was distributing mail and after their courtship, they married on January 30, 1954. They were married 70 years before Harry’s passing.
Together, Harry and Syble had five children, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Syble was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and Harry lived life to the fullest, enjoying many family camping trips on the Frio River, and trips to San Antonio and Mexico. Family was so important in her life. There were always family get togethers at the house. Syble was also a tremendous cook, passing down many great recipes to her family.
Syble was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters, along with her husband Harry and daughter Theresa Kirsch Bowser. Her surviving children are Stanley (Jolene) Kirsch of Spring, TX David (Nancy) Kirsch of Spring, TX Loretta (Miles Thornton) Talley of Houston, TX and Tracy (Connie) Kirsch of Mooresville, NC.
A visitation for Syble will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM, in Brookside's Family Chapel; followed by burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryan Kirsch, Adam Kirsch, Brooks Bowser, Brandon Browser, Daron Kirsch, Ty Kirsch, Garrett Kirsch and Patrick Pratt.
