Sylvia Katherine Hill

Born to the late Andrew & Nella Landry, July 22, 1933 in New Iberia La, Sylvia grew up in a very small house with 8 siblings. She was very close to all of her brothers and sisters and kept a very special relationship with each and every one of them throughout her entire life.

After high school and college, she was later married to the late Kenneth Ray Hill of Woodville TX then moved to Houston shortly afterwards to start a family.

Sylvia was an extremely proud wife and mother and was fully devoted to caring for her family. Once being blessed with the ultimate gift of grandchildren, the stratum of her pride and devotion as a grandmother was more or less indescribable and unmeasurable.

Although her suffering has ended and her life in Heaven as begun, she will be missed by all of us.

“Our dearest mother, thank you for your devotion in making our lives your priority. We can proudly say that you have made us the individuals that we are today.”

Sylvia is survived by her children; Kenneth Wayne Hill and wife Ava and Kevin Hill, Grandchildren; Dustin Hill and Lily Hill, brothers and sisters; Gerald Landry, Roland Landry, Raoul Landry, Roy Landry, Leona Corley and Odette Stakes.
