Tahani D Andarawis

Tahany Dawood Andrawes, our beloved Mom, was born on November 15th,1926 as the second child of eight daughters to Dawood and Ehsan Andrawes. She is the beloved wife of the late Tawfik Shalaby and the dear mother to her son Wadid Shalaby, husband of Nora Masiha, her daughter Mervat Guirguis, wife of the late Raouf Guirguis and Dr. Monir Shalaby, husband of Dr. Mona Shalaby.

She is the loving grandmother to Dr. Tamer Shalaby, husband of Tina Shalaby, Ingy Salib, wife of Dr. George Salib, Hany Guirguis, husband of Christine Guirguis, Christine S. Abdelmalek, wife of Dr. Kirollos Abdelmalek, Dr. Michael Shalaby, husband of Sammi Garrison.

She is the great grandmother to Isac Shalaby, Emma Shalaby, Alex Salib, Sophia Salib, Michael Salib,Joseph, Olivia, Isabella Abdelmalek and Rafael Abdelmalek.

She is survived by her sister Layla Toma. She is the sister of the late Hayat Andrawes, Nadia Andrawes, Nazli Andrawes, Cecil Andrawes, Luci Andrawes and Margaret Andrawes.

May she rest in peace in the bosom of our father in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M at St. Mark Coptic Church, 424 Mulberry Lane, Bellaire, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, Texas 77077.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me

beside the still waters. He restores my soul, he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s
