She was preceded in death by Chinh Van Nguyen, her husband of 41 years. She was survived by 1 sister, 7 half siblings, 11 children and their spouses, 23 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
In life, she was known for her generosity, selflessness, resilience, determination, and independence. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped raise and the fighting spirit she instilled.
She had a fulfilling and happy life surrounded by love and respect from friends and families. She had a passion for cooking and made many wonderful dishes, but we will especially miss her “ bánh bột lọc” and “chả giò”. To be fed by her was to be loved by her. We are all well-fed and well-loved.
