Tania R. Garcia

Tania graduated from Langham Creek High School in 1992 and proceeded to attend Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. She graduated with top honors in 2002 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. She went on to work for JP Morgan Chase, as an International Banker for over 10 years.

Tania had many hobbies that included, traveling abroad, making jewelry, custom cakes, and makeup artistry. She was very kind hearted and thoughtful, to know her was to love her. She was THE life of the party at all times. Tania loved being around her family and shared a very special bond with all of them, especially her parents. Growing up she was often teased by her sisters that she was "the favorite". Tania has 5 nephews and one niece, whom she adored. She always made it a point to spend time with them, playing and laughing.

Along with all of her other talents, Tania was a great impersonator! She had the best sense of humor and told the funniest stories. Laughter was always present when she was around!

On top of all that, Tania was also a phenomenal singer. Singing was a passion for her and a way to express herself. In the early 90's she was one of the lead singers for a Tejano band "Konztelacion". Traveling all over Houston for many performances.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Rosario Gomez, on her father's side and her grandfather Baltazar Hernandez Castro from her mother's side. Tania is survived by her loving parents Jose T. Garcia and Regina Garcia, four younger sisters, January, Celeste, Xochitl, Tansie; Brother in Law, Salud R. Hernandez; her nephews and niece whom she loved and adored unconditionally, Anthony, Jason, Camila, Diego Hernandez, Joseph Garcia, and Christian Puente. All who reside in Houston, Texas. She will truly be missed by numerous family members and friends.

Tania will forever live in our hearts and is missed every day. If she was here now, she would say to us, in her words, "Stop crying", because "ain't nobody got time for that".......
