

Tennyson is survived by his loving wife, Angelina Medlock; a son, Todd Medlock (Belinda); a daughter, Nicole Battle (Richard); a daughter Angeline Williams (Marcus); grandsons, Richard Clay Battle, Marcus Cole Williams; granddaughters, Bria Battle, Alaina Williams. He is also survived by his only living sister Sadie Hollen. He is leaving behind also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family to mourn the loss.
As the eldest son he was proceeded by his father, Tommie Medlock; mother, Emma Medlock; sister, Doris Feggins; brother, Jennis Medlock.
Tennyson moved from South Carolina at an early age traveling to New Jersey to forge a new path in life. He took a faithful job at Patterson Task Force in Patterson, New Jersey where he met his future wife. After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelors degree in arts and science, accounting became his calling. He worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield briefly before accepting a new job offer in Texas working at Big Three Industries. After working at Big Three for 16 years which eventually became Air Liquide, he retired as accounts receivable manager. He was never one to be stagnant, he worked part time at Electronic Part Outlet for 10 years.
He had a passion for playing golf, photography, enjoying jazz and drinking a hot cup of coffee were just a few of his retirement pastimes.
Besides being a loving husband he was a devoted friend and generous grandfather. He will be missed by his wife Angelina whom he fondly referred to as "hun".
