Terry Lee Sparks

Texas and passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 61.

Terry was born on July 19, 1963, to Mary James (Carpenter) Sparks

and Andrew Sparks. Terry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and

countless adventures.

Terry was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and

unwavering kindness. Terry shared a passion for storytelling

with his two favorite aunts, Aunt Dorthy Mae and Aunt Essie Pearl

and together they could captivate an audience with their tales for

hours on end. Whether it was sharing a joke or offering words of

wisdom, Terry always knew how to lift the spirits of those around

him.

As a parent to Nicholas Sparks, Terry found immense joy in watching

his son grow into a young man. His greatest joy, however, came

when he became a grandparent to his granddaughter Sophia. His

love for their granddaughter knew no bounds, and he cherished

every moment spent together.

In addition to his role as a parent and grandparent, Terry was a

dedicated friend, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a

listening ear. His presence brought light into the lives of all who

knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished.

Though Terry may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the

hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he

rest in peace, knowing that he was loved beyond measure and will

never be forgotten.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; Mary and Toby Sparks,

surviving aunt Nancy Sparks, his only son Nicholas Sparks, Grand-

daughter Sophia, god sister Stephanie Cole and a host of cousins

and family. Terry will be forever loved and truly missed.
