Thelma Marie Kent, 87, was born November 24, 1925 in Pelly, Texas went to be with the Lord February 1, 2013. Thelma is preceded in death by: parents: David Edward Slaughter & Linnie Slaughter; sister, Doris Nelm; sons: James, David, & Don Slater. Left to cherish her memories: son, Dennis Slater & wife Robin; granddaughters: Melissa & Gayle Slater; grandsons: Jeffrey, Ryan & wife Bianca & Charles Slater; great grandchildren: Delaney, Jaxon, Aria & Brooklyn; sisters: Margaret Mullin & husband Ellis, Mary Tubbleville & husband Oscar; brother-in-law, Harold Nelm. Visitation will be Tues., Feb. 5th beginning at 9am with Funeral Services to follow at 10am at Brookside Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
