Thomas R Alvarado

Thomas served 2 years in the U.S. Army; part of that time was spent in Korea which afford him to be a member of the VFW. He was also a member of 8404 Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick’s Church.

Thomas had his own successful air conditioning and heating company for over 30 years. He grew up learning the air conditioning business from his dad and later went to technical school to get certified. Thomas also enjoyed music so much he had his own DJ business. In between his air condition company & DJ business Thomas tried his hand in the Texas tradition of BBQ cookoff competitions. He started competing in the chicken category but found his luck within the Dutch oven group, which he passed down this knowledge to his daughter.

He is survived by his wife Esther Alvarado and 2 children, daughter Lisa Alvarado Davila and her husband Pedro Davila, son Frank Anthony Alvarado and his wife Janie Alvarado, Grandchildren Yvette Sanchez, Brittany Lightfoot, Katrina Davila, Stephanie Alvarado, Tony Alvarado, Jonathon, Nick, and Victor. 11 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.
