

Tom was born February 5, 1962 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, but spent most of his life in Houston, Texas. His beloved grandparents: Frank and Arlene White and Mabel and Henry Wurth of St. Louis preceded him in death.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Judy Tuttle Wurth, his parents, Tom and Jackie Wurth, brother Matthew Wurth, sister, Lisa Morton (Dean) and niece, Delaney Morton, father-in-law Art Tuttle, sisters in-laws, Diane Wuthrich, Susan Lockstedt (Brian) Cindy Whitzel (Greg), Rita Havel (Jim), brother in-law, Art Tuttle (Lee) and numerous nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Scarborough High School he attended The University of Houston where he earned a BBA in Marketing. He owned Urban Bicycle Gallery and was active in the bicycle community. Tom enthusiastically shared his passion for mountain biking, as well as, martial arts.
Among his many interests Tom was a self-taught artist and his paintings and sculptures are prominently displayed in and around his bike shop. His family, many friends and cycling family will miss him.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Unity Church of Christianity, 2929 Unity Dr. at Westheimer.
