Tommie was preceded in death by both of her parents and her sister, Jewel Fisher.
Tommie Hicks was a beloved member of Spring Wood Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school to 5th graders for many years. Tommie loved her family and friends.
Tommie is survived by her loving husband, William Charles Hicks; children, William Charles Hicks, Jr. and Sherry Ann Hicks Strunk and husband Thomas Eugene Strunk; grandchildren, Robert Alan Strunk and fiancé Cassandra Garza, Jacob Thomas Strunk and his wife Adrianna Strunk; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
