Troy Lee Powers

On March 1, 1969 a precious baby boy was born to the proud parents of Marleen Godfrey and Troy Lee Powers Sr.

Troy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age under the Gospel Hill Baptist Church. He loves gymnastics and being a D.J.

He was loved by many; His nickname was Dirty Red. He was a dedicated Father, Son, Brother and Uncle, as he loved his family and friends.

October 19, 2024, Troy gained his wings to join His Heavenly Father. He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Lee Powers, Sr.; His grandfather Herbert Lee Prines; His grandmother Maxine Powers; His Aunt Shirey Green and His cousin Lillian McNeil and Leroy Purvis.

He leaves to cherish his memory, His loving daughter: Liwanda Williams. He leaves to morn; His mother Marleen Godfrey: His Brothers; Errone Powers, Charles Franklin and his sister Teresha Powers. His favorite Aunt and Uncle, Arleen Sonier and Robert Primes. host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Troy Jr. will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. A funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The committal will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home & Cemetery North, 10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088.
