I know Vicky from preferred bank. She was the VP at operation Dept. I love the way she dressed at work. She always looked very pretty. She loved Indian food. I even made Indian food for her. I can't believe she is gone. My condolence to her family. I wish her rest in peace. I will miss her.

When I think of Vicky, I see her smile and hear her laugh and despite my great sorrow at this time, I smile. Her laughter is so musical and I use the present tense because I know the music of her laughter is not silenced but rather has now added beauty to the music of heaven. Jim, you know we came to Houston rather battered and broken and you and Vicki were such good friends to Paul and I, but Vicki, in our daily walks became such a dear friend, mentor, sister and witness of God's love and faithfulness to me. I loved the way she loved her husband and daughter and whole family. I loved the way she found the good and the joy in life. It is so good to know she is in heaven but she was such a dear heart, I lay in bed at night thinking there must be so many people who will feel her absence from this realm so deeply.Her life truly glorified God. Even after we moved back to Iowa our friendship did not falter. Vicki's love and friendship was a constant you could depend on. I am so sorry she is gone yet I praise God that I have her as my friend for eternity. We can look forward to walking and laughing with Vicky again. I am hoping our little dogs will be with us, too. I am sorry to express things so poorly —my heart is so full because there are so many good memories and things to say about Vicky. Words are so inadequate!

Vicky was truly a lady of courage and faith. She shined brightly always. Her faith inspires me and reminds me I can face anything with Christ Jesus. I know "Great is her reward" at this time. She has finished the race and her eyes are in awe of complete beauty and peace. I will be here for you Jim and Valerie if you need a friend. May God hold you both tightly and remind you how much He loves and delights in you just as He did Vicky.

Vicky was a delighful person. I loved the sound of her laugh! She was always so poised and elegant. I am so blessed that I had the oppurtunity to not only work with her, but have a friendship with her. Jim and Valerie, we love you and you will always remain in my prayers.

Although I never met Vicky, Jim has kept me informed of her long illness. I have been praying for her and Jim for a very long time. I will continue my prayers on behalf of the entire family. May you all keep her precious memories with you forever, and smile often when you speak of her.

I was deeply saddened about hearing of Vicky's passing.  We would often talk about classical music or history.  She was always happy and a pleasure to be around.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.  "His eye is on the sparrow."

I met and knew Vicky when Valerie and I were growing up and going to school together. I remember her as being one of the 'cool' fun Moms, delightful and smiling alot. She will be missed greatly.

Vicky was a great friend. One of my best friends. No matter what we did, we always had a great time. She was so easygoing and fun loving. She always readily listened to anything and provided her wisdom in a loving way. I loved talking gardening to her as we swapped plants. We were supposed to go to the Antique Rose Emporium and eat at an Indian buffet one day after her cancer treatments. Wow life will not be the same without her. I love and miss you Vicky Keys and I always will. My prayers to Valerie and Jim. We all were blessed to have known her. God be with you.

O God, you are water for our thirst and manna in our desert. We praise you for the life of Vicky Keys and Bless your mercy that has brought her suffering to an end. Now we ask that same endless mercy to raise her to new life. Nourished by the food and drink from heaven, may she rest forever in the joy of Christ our Lord.

Ellen and I were privileged to have met you at St. Joseph's Orthodox Church 13 years ago.  It was always a joy to be in your presence and you had the best sense of humor of all the parishioners we encountered during our time there.  Your Christian witness was a model for all of us.  You and Jim were witnesses whenever we were received into the Orthodox Church and became true friends.  We will always treasure your memory.

I miss her so much already. She always greeted me " Elizabeth, my friend, and it is hard to think that I will never hear that again. She gave the best hugs ever! When she smiled, it was with entire face, eyes sparkling....and her laugh....full out with her head tossed back. I will miss you everyday....I already sent God a message " You have her now......you better take care of her. You were such a beautiful person, I will miss you terribly.

Jim---Sorry I can't be with you to give you a hug. I'm glad Matt and I were able to spend those pleasant days with you and Vicky here in Anaheim.It gave us a chance to experience what a lovely and gracious lady she was.Love-Oscar

One of our fondest memories of Vicky is of her serving crapes to her friends and neighbors on Christmas morning. It became a tradition during the years we lived a few houses down the street from her. Her laughter was contagious and her kindness disarming. Her way was kindness. Vicky said Jim was her knight in shining armor. He took her away to his castle and they lived happily. We were sorry to see her go but so glad for her happiness. We miss her now with fond memories.

We're so sorry for you, Jim, and for your family. Our prayers are with you in this great loss.

It was such a privilege to be your husband of 33 years. 

Time passed so quickly and you seemingly left before your time. It was God's time,  and I am content with that. 

You are so very present in my life and in the life of your children and those who you influenced. 

There are so many words to describe you: quality, integrity, and perseverance. But your best attributes were your genuine love for other people and your love of God. When you asked someone "How are you doing?" you really wanted to know, it was not a throwaway line just to fill an awkward pause. 

You are just the best, and I can't even begin to express how much you are missed.

Momma, oh momma, how I miss you and your amazing spirit.   I am so broken, mom.  I don't know how to walk this life without you.  I don't know how I am going to do it.  Thank you for giving me so much, for teaching me to love, to give, and for being such an amazing role model for me as I grew.  They say it is better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved at all.  That's so true, but oh how the loss hurts.   I didn't know it could hurt this bad. 

I want to talk with you so so badly, and I can not.  I want to text you and laugh together again.  The one thing in the world that would ease this horrible pain...I can not have.  Oh, if I could only have even just one more day with you.  

All of your friends and all of the people who you have touched along the way..they're all helping us now, mom.   Your work, your friends, your church..they are surrounding us with love.   You would be so proud of all of us.  Amy, Peter and Lisa, all of the grand kids...they're all coming to honor you this week.  I know that makes you smile down on us because you always wanted that.  You always wanted all of us together again.  We are now.  Don't worry about Switzerland.   I am figuring out ways to communicate with them in French so that they know what's going on.  They are far away, but will always be in my heart, for they are your blood and my blood too.   If I keep them close, I will be closer to you.  I will watch over them and visit them just like you have always done. 

I will forever keep my promise to you.  And I will live my life the way you taught me - with faith, love, and compassion for others.   I am comforted to know you are with God.  Please tell Vanessa and my grandmas and grandpas how much I love and miss them.  

Farewell, my beloved mother. May your memory be eternal.
