Verna Lee Chapman Chrisman went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 93 on Dec. 4, 2011 surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Coleman, TX on July 8, 1918 to Naymon Eldoris and Beulah Mae Brown. She is preceded in death by her husbands: Bartlett Chapman & Bobby Ray Chrisman; sons: Cecil Chapman & Lynn Chapman. Verna Lee was a Charter member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Her love for the Lord led her to a life of service in many different areas of the church. She also was a faithful volunteer at North West Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elaine Moran & husband Johnny; step-son, Terry Chrisman & wife Elaine; 2 grandsons: Shannon Chapman & wife Sharon, Todd Chapman; 3 granddaughters: Kimberly Rosoda, Christene Briggs & husband Torry, Sheri Sykes, 1 step grandson, Jason Chrisman & wife Tracy; brother-in-law, Bobby Chapman & wife Jane. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 9th from 5-8PM . A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00AM, Sat., Dec. 10th at Brookside Family Chapel with Dr. Lynn Hitt & Dr. Carl Fitzgerald officiating.
