Vernise Ann Page

Vernise was a devoted mother to her sons Christopher Page, Benjamin “Tracy” Page, and Robin Page her pride and joy. She dedicated her life to them, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. She also formed close relationships with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she would call on their birthdays and sing happy birthday to them.

Vernise took special joy in bringing happiness into the lives of people she loved. She paid particular attention to what made people happy and would hand crochet a personal gift, cook a favorite meal or dessert on special occasions.

Vernise worked at Brinks U.S. for over twenty years as a machine operator and received many appreciations for good service awards. She was sent to several different cities to train other machine operator on how to improve their performance.

Vernise was preceded in death by son, Christopher Page; grandson, Blake Page; father, Jock Guillory; mother, Josephine Guillory; sisters, Vera Lee Stevenson, Andrene Cole, and Laura Bell Sonnier.

She is survived by sons, Tracy Page and Robin (Kimi) Page, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Vernise will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A home going service will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. An entombment will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
