

Victoria Lopez, una mujer amada y ejemplar, falleció el 23 de enero de 2026 a la edad de 88 años. Nació el 23 de diciembre de 1937 en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México a sus padres Salvador Silva y Maria De Los Angeles Salazar.
A lo largo de su vida, Victoria fue conocida por ser valiente, compasiva, querida, devota, fiel, generosa, gentil, trabajadora, honesta, inspiradora, leal, desinteresada, considerada y sabia.
Victoria residía en Cypress, Texas, y dedicó su carrera profesional al Hospital M.D. Anderson en el área de limpieza. Se casó con Manuel Lopez el 23 de mayo de 1998, y juntos compartieron una vida llena de amor y compromiso.
Era miembra de la Iglesia Católica St. Cyril of Alexandria, donde participó activamente en diversas organizaciones de la iglesia. Sus intereses personales incluían el bordado, la cocina, y sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia, reír y disfrutar de buenos momentos.
Le sobreviven sus hijas Maryanne Hanke, Elsa Montemayor y Hilda Boreman y su esposo Dorian ; sus hijos Jesús Alvarado y su esposa Lucy, Marco Alvarado y su esposa Elizabeth y Theo Alvarado; así como 26 nietos y 17 bisnietos. Fue precedida en la muerte por sus hijas Silvia Santos y Lydia Alvarado y por su esposo Manuel Lopez en 2018.

Se llevará a cabo la visitación el 20 de febrero de 2026 de 10:00 am a 11:00 am en la Funeraria Advantage, ubicado en 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081. El servicio en la capilla será el mismo día a las 11:00 am , seguido de la sepultura a la 1:15 pm en el Panteon Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.

She was predeceased by her daughters Silvia Santos and Lydia Alvarado. Victoria's legacy continues through her 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her career was marked by her dedicated service at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Housekeeping. Beyond her professional life, Victoria was deeply involved in her community as a member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church. Her personal interests included participating in church organizations, embroidery, cooking, and spending cherished moments with her family. She had a passion for laughter and sharing good times with those around her.
A visitation will be held on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081. This will be followed by a chapel service at the same location at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, at 1:15 pm.
Victoria Lopez will be remembered for her unwavering love, dedication, and the positive impact she had on everyone she encountered. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
