

A devoted, faithful, hard-working, resilient, humorous, and patient man, he will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude by all who knew him. Victoriano lived in Pasadena, Texas. Victoriano was a 1958 graduate of Milby High School. He later served his country as a security enforcement specialist for the United States Air Force, a commitment that reflected his steady character and enduring sense of duty.
Throughout his life, Ray dedicated himself to his work as a masonry building churches and many other items. His faithful craftsmanship and thoughtful attention to detail were evident in the structures he helped create—lasting work that stands as a quiet testament to a life of purpose and perseverance. He was a sixteen year member of Bethlehem Church holding positions as Sunday school secretary and lastly the president of the men's society. He also was selected and held the position for many years as treasury of the men's district society. Ray was married 24 years to Helen Vasquez Esparza. He also enjoyed fishing, finding simple peace and enjoyment in time spent on the water. He is lovingly survived by his two daughters and one son; Yvonne Grimaldo and husband Lorenzo, Patricia Esparza and husband Jaime, Israel Esparza. Also left to cherish his memory are his three grandsons, Anthony, Nicholas and Lorenzo; his sister Sulema Arredondo and husband Arturo, brother Reverend Richard Esparza and wife Eva, many nieces nephews, church family and other relatives.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, on April 13, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Religious Ceremony will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, on April 13, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, on April 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the funeral service; Committal Service's will be held with Air Force Honors at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
