This pass 5 years has been the hardest without you  & Mom. I miss sitting at our computers and paying our bills together and  afterwards having our beers and listening to Gene Watson together while you sang your heart out. Those were the go ole days. Memories that’s what keeps me going.

Hi Pawpaw! 

It’s not been often that I’ve written you a message in here, I kinda feel like you’d check Facebook more often than here. We’re coming up on 5 years here pretty quick. I don’t even know how that is possible. Time seems to pass so quickly these days. All the kids are growing like weeds. There isn’t a day that goes by that you and Mimi don’t cross my mind. I’m reminded of how blessed we were to have known the love you and Mimi had for us and to have been able to spend the time we did with you both. I hope that Jason and I are at least half the grandparents the two of you were to us to our grandchildren one day.  That bond is rare and beautiful. Anyway, I love you both so much & I miss you.

It’s Christmas morning 2019. It has been so hard without you here with us. I know you and Mom are really having a awesome day today in heaven. I think about you every single day and miss you both so much. Stratton and I are coming to the cemetery to check on the decor we put on your grave. It seems like last time someone took it. Happy Father’s Day in Heaven Daddy!
Oh how I miss you so much, I know you and your family are celebrating today together at last. It’s a hard day for me today.  I think of you all the time . You would love the place we have know . It has been going on 4 months since you left us. 
We think about you everyday. I miss having that morning cup of coffee with you and watching our favorite soap opera together everyday. I think about you every time I hear the news are hear sports on the TV.  Kaine came over the other day and we didn’t get to spend to much time together by ourselves, but Even though this was not the house you were at it still reminds him so much of you. He carry’s his Fred Chapman bear around with him. 
Well I guess you know your Son’s not talking to me anymore since your gone. You didn’t think there was going to be a problem , but there is. 
Que Sera Sera , what ever will be will be! I thought they would respect your wishes . I’m to old to play games now. I guess  it’s a shame we will die not ever speaking again. RIP my angel until We meet again one day. I will forever love you Dad!

                 It has been 1 month today since you left us. Believe me it has been a struggle trying to get things handled, but as you know like everything else I seem to manage. God doesn't give us more than we can handle.  So I am doing what we had talked about before you passed. 
I still keep hoping I will wakeup and this will be a bad dream. I miss you more than you could ever image. I keep waiting for you to come walking down the hall with your walker and carrying your cup on top of it.  I know your better off now no pain and suffering anymore.  I will always love you Daddy!

I think you have definitely tried to let us know you’re still around watching over us. I really wish I could’ve kept you and Mimi forever, but it’s unrealistic and selfish. I am so grateful for the last few days I was able to spend with you holding your hand, and I will always remember you holding my hand, looking in my eyes and telling me “I love you.” I was so blessed to have you.

           It has been 1 week since your passing.  I keep waiting for you to walk down the hall with your walker every morning. I have been working hard to do what we talked about after your passing. Keeping busy really seems to help until mornings come and I can’t have that cup of coffee with you anymore. That’s when it really hits me the most. Just know your in my heart 24/7. I hope you had a big party up in heaven when you got there. You had a beautiful service down here. I was very pleased. I’m sure you were too. I could feel you smiling down on me. All your children and grandchildren & great grandchildren were there. You were loved dearly my Angel! And always will be in our hearts Daddy. R.I.P.

Dad I can see and feel you smiling down on me from Heaven today. I think I fulfilled your dream you had the other day of your funeral. We just got home and I put your picture by the computer so I can look at you while I type this message. I love you so much and I will never ever forget you. Tomorrow will probably be the worst day since your gone. I will miss fixing your coffee and watching the news with you and watch the Bold & The Beautiful with you. Please send me a sign your ok.
