It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Clinton Davis, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who peacefully passed away on February 18, 2025, in Houston, TX, at the age of 67.
Walter Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dollie Davis. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Stephanie Davis; his daughter Lauren Davis-Rodriguez and her wife Jackie; 3 beautiful granddaughters, Mariah, Alle and Cadence; his sister Darlene and her husband Rob; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss him dearly.
Walter had a passion for photography, travel and woodworking. From his early days as a yearbook photographer in high school to capturing cherished family moments and taking beautiful photos of his travels, Walter leaves behind a legacy of memories that will continue to bring joy for years to come. In recent years, he discovered woodworking and loved to spend time in his workshop crafting various beautiful pieces.
Walter was known for his big personality and was a friend to everyone. He had many friends within the local Katy running and cycling clubs. He was the light in the room that everyone gravitated toward. His humor, kindness, and warm spirit were felt by all who knew him. Even in his final days at MD Anderson, the doctors and nurses could see that light in him.
Ever the life of the party, Walter was always very clear a party should be held upon his death. In fulfillment of that wish, simply bring yourself and your favorite memory of Walter to share at his Celebration of Life.
