Walter Henderson Jr., 76, passed away on January 18, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He was born August 22, 1937, in Livingston, Texas to Walter Henderson Sr. and Ada Lee Kirk Henderson. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Classy Askew and his brothers, Leroy Henderson and Robert Henderson, and his son Carl Walker.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Watrina Henderson, Sarah Gardner and Laura Walker; his son, Lee Morgan; his granddaughters, Tatiana Henderson, Jamesha Scott, Sarah Pradia and Quinniesha Bell, Brittany Morgan, Melissa Morgan and Dominique Morgan; his grandsons, Tramaine Watts Chandler and Kendrick Chandler; his great-great grandson, Xavier Brown; his sons-in-law, Thomas Gardner and Robert Chandler; his great nephew, Anthony Gardner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation and begin at 2:00pm. The burial will take place at Brookside Memorial Park following the funeral service.
