Walter Thomas Williams Jr., 87, of Houston, Texas, passed away October 23, 2018. He was born in Orange, Texas on September 11, 1931 to Walter and Carrie Williams. He was married to Neva Joyce Williams for 63 years. Walter had a career in civil engineering for as an Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Houston. Walter was a member of Texas A&M Alumni, and several engineering associations. He had a passion for reading, running (he ran 2 marathons), and hiking.
Walter was preceded in death by his father Walter, mother Carrie, and brother Joseph. He is survived by his wife Neva Joyce Williams, son Thomas Williams, daughters Dana Pangburn, Melonie Atkerson, and Karen Essel Williams.
