Walter William Wishard, age 69, left this earth on October 28th, 2015 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Walter served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life he also worked as a steel worker, a Kirby Vacuum cleaner salesman, an Asbestos removal technician, and as a General Contractor. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends. He was a member of the Brazoria Lion’s Club, the Greenwood Gun Club, and was once the Assistant Scout Master for Troop 503. He had a passion for deer hunting and would go every chance he could. He was an amazing father and a true friend to anyone who knew him. Always willing to sacrifice whatever time or resources he had to help any person that needed it. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Marion K. Wishard in 2010. He leaves behind his son, Christopher D. Wishard; step-sons Terry Bullard and Jeffrey Cormier; step-daughters Jenifer Cormier, Jackie Liges, and Joy Adkins; and long lost high school sweetheart Shirley Abbott.
