Warren James Dunphy passed away from life Sunday evening May 22, 2011. He was born in Houston, Texas, on March 10, 1933. Warren graduated from St. Thomas High School and the University of Houston, where he was a member of the founding chapter of Sigma Chi fraternity. He went on to serve as a Captain in the Army Reserves, later working for the Texas Employment Commission for many years, retiring in 1993.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jenny Dunphy, his brother David Dunphy and wife Nichi Dunphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Park Westheimer at 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX., Tuesday May 31, at 10am. The service will be officiated by Reverend Michael A. Jamail. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
