

William (Bill) Fredrick Chambers, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the age of 69. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all of his family and friends. He was a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Bill was born in Houston, Texas, where he lived his entire life. An avid Astros fan, he could be heard cheering them on from the other room. He enjoyed the outdoors, often camping at Big Bend National Park with his friends. Bill graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film. Bill retired from the Houston Pilots after over 30 years of service retiring in 2018.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Alma Chambers and granddaughter, Mila Montgomery.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Chambers, his brothers, Edward (Carol) Chambers and Jim (Maria) Chambers, his children: Roberto (Jaclyn) Diaz Jr., Ana (Juan) Robledo, Carlos Diaz, Claudia (Joe) Montgomery, Cynthia (Kevin) Trevino and Amber Chambers (Chris Lopez). Bill had fifteen grandkids: Priscilla Robledo, Juan Robledo Jr., Ashley Robledo, Kayla Hernandez, Chloe Suarez, Christian Robledo, Ethan Galvan, Matthew Galvan, Christian Galvan, Gracie Trevino, Christopher Lopez, Meadow Montgomery, Mateo Montgomery, Cora Lopez and Micah Montgomery and eight great-grandchildren: Jayden Majano, Harper See, Gianni Guajardo, Aria Hernandez, Theodore Robledo, Elijah Guajardo, Nathaniel Galvan, and Elias Galvan. His nieces, Erin Barry, Shelly Lowe, Rebecca Chambers, Caitlyn Wyckoff, and nephew Joey Chambers. Bill will be adding three additional great-grandchildren this year whom he will watch over from up above. He will be sadly missed by his chihuahua, Kilo Trevino.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
