William A. Childs, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 29, 2016. He was born on November 29, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents, Ernest and Michaela Childs. He is a WWII veteran, who proudly served his country in the US Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Richard Childs.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Emma Childs; children, Sylvia Crawford, William Childs, David Childs, Ernest Childs, and Michael Childs; along with numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Childs will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Interment will follow the service at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive. Visitation will be held the hour before, starting at 11am, Thursday, August 4, 2016.
