William D. Trapp

Bill was born on August 27, 1933, in San Antonio, Tx. the son of William David Trapp, and Maurine Morris Hudson. He enlisted in The United States Navy in 1952 and served in the Korean War on the USS Yorktown until his honorable discharge in 1956. While serving he earned a Korean Service medal, United Nations Service Medal, China Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. He married Wanda Lou Trapp at the age of 22 in 1956. He attended St. Mary’s University and worked in auto sales at Don McMillan and McRee Ford. He enjoyed boating, selling cars, dancing and spending time with his family.

In addition to Wanda he is survived by his children Leah and husband Darrell Troville, Lesa Trapp and husband Mark Lewis, and Lora and husband Jacob Decker, his 9 grandchildren, Jaime, D.J, and Kyrstin Troville, Mary Trapp, William, Christian, and Michael Wilson, Wade, and Wyatt Smith, and 3 great grandchildren Tristan Halloran, Mackenzie and Samuel Dunn, and nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents William and Maurine Trapp, his sister Shirley Ann Trapp, and brother Robert Donald Trapp.
