Winell Richardson

Winell Jackson Richardson a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister was born in Houston, Texas on June 27, 1956, to the parents of Claiborne F. Jackson, Sr and Lillian Jackson, who both precede her in death. Winell was the third child born to this union.

Winell is the proud mother of Jason Richardson(deceased)(Connie) and Dwight Jarrod Richardson.

Winell was a graduate of Kashmere Sr. High School and an employee for the Harris County Hospital District for over 20 years. Over the last 35 years, Winell was known for her skills in the kitchen. She was a great cook and made sure that we would always be together for a good holiday meal. She would push and press to make sure we were always together for those great times.

Winell was a member of Victory Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Maurice Graves.

On January 2, 2023, God saw fit to call in one of his own. Winell is now resting in the arms of God along with her son, sister, Mother and Father. She leaves to cherish her memories; her baby boy Dwight Jarrod Richardson, grandchildren, Denecia Nelson, Alex Holt, Jasha Ross and Jeremiah Richardson whom she loved dearly. Her brother Fred Jackson and sisters, Rose Jackson, Lydia Jackson, Erma Johnson (Marcus) and Valerie Jackson. Also, Kim Declouette who held a special place in her heart along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
