Won Ok Chu, age 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday June 14, 2019. Won was born June 5, 1942 in Do Uen, South Korea to Mr. and Mrs. Yi. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her family.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Chae Min Chu, 4 children and 5 grandchildren. The children's names are Kelly, Erika , Steven and Adam. Her grandchildren are Sean , Scott , Madison, Sophie and Summer.
Her passions and devotions included her family, children, hard work and spreading the word of Jesus Christ. She started her own business in the mid 80's where it continues to operate.
A visitation with family and friends for Won will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx. 77079. The funeral service will occur on June 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. with committal service to follow.
