Wyoma Lou “Omey” Seamans, 99, passed away October 16, 2021, with her loving family by her side at her Eagles’s Trace Retirement Community Home. Omey is survived by her daughters Sandra K. Seamans of Katy, TX; Linda S. Cavin (Steven E.) of Lake Charles, LA, and Carol A. Sado (Steven J.) of Billings, MT; granddaughter Lindsay A. Prust and great grandson Maddock M. D’Avy of Praireville, LA; and sister Donna K. Weiss of Arvada, CO. Omey was born to the late Mable C. and Lou E. Osborn of Lusk, WY. Omey was one the first civilians hired at the Casper Army Air Field where she met her loving husband of 68 years James “Jim” McGeery Seamans. Omey enjoyed being part of the Texaco family moving to new cities and cultivating many life-long friendships. After Jim retired, Omey and Jim found a new love in ballroom dancing and traveling the US and abroad. Omey loved playing cards, especially bridge, with her many Eagle’s Trace friends. Omey is preceded in death by her loving husband Jim, and sisters Geraldine “Jerry” Williams, Lola “Billie” Lewis and Jocilyn”Joy” Hartung. Private interment services will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, TX on Thursday 10/22.
