Xuyen Hong Tran

Xuyen was born on November 10, 1955 in Cà Mau, Vietnam. He lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by family and friends. After immigrating to the United States in the late 1970’s, he dedicated over 30 years working as a machinist in the oil and gas industry. Outside of work, he cherished spending time with his family, tending to his garden, and traveling to new places. His passion for life and the joy he found in the simple pleasures will always be remembered.

He is survived by his wife, Van Tang; children Linh Reeves and husband Adam, Nancy Nguyen and husband Anthony, Jenny Dowd-Warren and husband Thomas, Dianne Barton and husband Skylar; and grandchildren Nathaniel, Alexander, Logan, Caleb, Cooper, and Olivia.

His presence will be deeply missed, but the joy and memories he shared will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 10:00-11:30 am at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park.
