My deepest sympathy, I was very saddened to hear the news on my cousins passing after reading all the above sentiments. I feel the deep loss for not having known her personally while she was still part of our lives. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

Yolanda, I also have several memories of you, these are a few. When you would take me and JD to school or pick us up. I remember you always making me feel welcomed in your home. You were such a kind person. I also remember when our apartment burned down you gave us all this furniture to help us out! That just goes to show how kind hearted you were. Also when you gave me a black watch for my birthday one year, you made me so happy!  :)

My sincere condolences to Yaya's children, grandchildren, her sisters and brother.  Yaya had such a beautiful heart and she loved her children and her grandchildren so much, she was so proud of all of you. Prayers to you guys that knowing she is now with her true love will ease your pain, even if just a little.

I still can't believe that she's gone. She always took good care of me. From the countless sleepovers as a young girl, me living with her so that I could attend middle school and high school with my cousins, the weekend breakfast gatherings at Grandma's house for chile, the bingo, and the countless holiday celebrations at her house. It saddens me to know that we can no longer make memories like these... I am gonna miss you.

Ya ya, no words can ever explain my love for you. I'm going through some mixed emotions, solely because I won't be able to call you up late at night  but I know that you're no longer enduring pain.  I'm not sure how I will continue life without you, but I know that I will pursue my goals in respect to you. Although your presence to my graduation will not be physical, I know that your spirit along with grandpas will be there which is more than enough. I love you and please watch over me as i transition from high school to college. I won't ever forget on your last couple of days when I told you "I love you grandma from the moon and back" and you said with the very little energy you had, "I love you too gabby". You're my rock and you will forever be remembered. Like I told you, it's not bye grandma it's see you later. Mom, I can not begin to tell you what a wonderful and amazing mother you have been.  I will miss you dearly, but I know you are in a better place now.  I rest assure that you are with Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa.  What glory it must be! Gabby said "Ya Ya will not be able to see me graduate next month" I told her "Grandma Ya Ya and Grandpa will have the best seat in the house." We will be strong for each other and most of all stay a family like you and Dad would want. I love you so much Mom.  Sometimes the pain is unbearable but, I find comfort you are in no pain.
