Yolanda was born on September 13, 1950, in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Gloria Eva Torres and William Guillermo Torres, her brothers Willie Ray Torres, Frank Torres and sister-in-law, Maria Jovita Torres.
Yolanda is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Ralph Villaseñor and their four children: Dominick Villaseñor (wife Sylvia Villaseñor), Steven Ray Villaseñor (wife Rebecca Villaseñor), Monique Ann Cruz (husband Jesse Cruz), and Nicholas Daniel Villaseñor; grandchildren: Steven Daniel Villaseñor and Joshua, Jennifer, and Julia Villaseñor; her brother, Alexander Torres; and loving nieces and nephews.
She had an amazing green thumb and raised the prettiest flowers, plants, and shrubs. She loved cruise ship traveling, road trips, and always delighted in an egg breakfast with coffee. She enjoyed music, some of her favorites being “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers and “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge. She loved movies, old and new, especially spooky and suspenseful flicks. She enjoyed decorating for all seasons and holidays, in particular Halloween and Christmas. Her displays brought so much joy to her family and neighbors. She’ll be dearly missed and will forever live in our hearts.
