Antonio Sousa

Antonio Sousa, 85, Hernando Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014. He was born in Porto Penafiel, Portugal to Jose and Maria De Sousa. He lived in Connecticut, and then moved to Florida to retire. He was an active of the Portugese American Culture Association in Port Richey.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marlene Sousa. Also, survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Waldir and Clara Andrade; brothers Abilio and Fernando; sister, Maria Jose, nieces and nephews, Steven, Stephanie, Ashley, Paul, Jessica and Jayden Andrade. He was a devoted husband, loving uncle and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida. Burial will follow to Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida.

As an expression of sympathy, the family requested donations may be made to Sturgill Hospice Care Center, 12242 Cortez Blvd. Brooksville, FL. 34613.
