

Darrel Lee Williams, 57, of Port Richey went home to be with our Lord on Monday, March 24, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda; daughter-Jennifer, son – Brandon, 4 wonderful grandchildren-Kayla (“Nat”), Hanna (“Peanut”), Trevor
(“Buddy”), and Kyle (“Booboo”), mother – Shelby Campbell (Walt), brother – Mike (Casey) and many extended family members and friends.
He was an avid fisherman, loved kayaking, boating and Nascar. Darrel was a family man – best known for “Pappy will fix it”. It didn’t matter what it was, a broken toy to scraped up knees, Pappy would fix it.
If you were blessed to have known him, you found a full of life, peaceful man with a “you can’t beat me”, stay strong spirit. Through his years of battling this dreadful disease he was blessed to have met several who gave their all to battle this disease with him, whether it be medical avenues, continued prayers and well wishes. Darrel was never alone in his battles. Our family thanks all of you for being there for him.
A memorial service, celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, in Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or Hernando Pasco Hospice.
