

He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
Gordon experienced many achievements throughout his life including: work on the San Onofre nuclear generator station; the Boeing 727 aircraft; restoration of the bridge across the St. Clair river at Sarnia, Ontario; and numerous and various other projects.
Gordon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his mother Luella Seesholtz Jones of Columbus, OH; his brother Vaughn Jones and his wife Karen of Odessa, FL; his brother John Jones of Lewis Center, OH; his four children Brion Jones and his wife Ida of Johnson City, TN; Aaron Jones & his wife Aimie of Bridgeport, WV; Clay Jones & his wife Nicole of Mountain Home, ID; and Dori Jones Peterson and her husband Craig of Holly Springs, NC.; 11 grandchildren and several step-grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Grace memorial Gardens and Funeral Home 16931 US Hwy 19 Hudson, Fl. 34667.
