Grandpa was an amazing man. We had many great times together and he taught me so much.
What I will remember about him the most was his selflessness, compassion and his understanding of the human body and nature.
In his subtle way he gave me an example of how to live.
I hope to live a life with as much love for family and friends as he did.
He was a great person and a wonderful Grandfather. I Love him so much and will miss him dearly.

Even though it's been almost 4 months since you went to be with our Lord I still miss you every minute of ever day.

I remember you through our 38+yrs together you were always so loving and 
caring.

You told me how you prayed "God send me that special someone to love &
share my life with" and there you were!  and you said you knew the first time
you saw me that I was the answer to that prayer.

You told me the night you were born there was a storm so all the electricity
in town was out so you was born by candle light, so that was why you were so romantic --and you were. (Loved that about you)  You spoiled me.

The words that best describe you for me are, Loving, Caring, Fun, & never
complaining.
How you loved the challenge of healing and never stopped studying to improve your knowledge.
 You were the Best,  you was "The Wind beneath my wings" and I will Love
all the rest of my days.

So as we always said at the close of every day,
"I Love you, sweet dreams, see you in the morning"

Dr. Johansen was a wonderful man and great Doctor.  I had the pleasure of working with him for a few years before he left the Largo area.  He was loved by all his patients, and will truly be missed.  Rest in Peace Doc.

Dr. Johansen was one of the smartest doctors I've known. I learned alot from him over the 7 years that  I worked for him. He will be missed. I'm sure he's in the library in Heaven right now looking for a book to read!

Memories of Roger live on in the hearts of all who knew him, even though in my case they were mostly business related.  Roger was a good man, full of character and integrity and I always enjoyed meeting with him. He enriched the lives of so many people during his 58 years as chiropractic physician. After viewing your pictures, I realize that we shared a love of boating and the water. Evelyn, please know that our memories of Roger will remain and our prayers and thoughts are with you now.

I will never see a boat, pass by the museum or hear the name Shackleton without thinking of you.  Say hi to Mark for me.  Love you.

In 1974, Mom sat myself and my sister down to tell us she had met someone... "he is nothing like your father". As I got to know him I could see how happy he made my mom and that made me happy. As years went by my relationship with Roger grew as well. He loved my two boys and they always had fun with Grandpa & Grandma whether it was boating or going to Krumps. Roger kept us all 'tuned-up' as he would say.  I thank God for bringing him into our lives, he made my mom happy and was an important part of our family for 38 years.  We all miss you so much!

Dr. Jo you will be missed by many. You were truly a man ahead of your time. Thanks for the memories.

Dr. J, there will never be another you. To many of us, you have been so much more than a doctor. You have been a TRUE healer. No doubt, from your Heavenly resting place, you are still sending healing energy to someone, somewhere in the Universe. As your patients, we will miss your compassionate care, your determination to find just the right remedy, your passion for natural medicine, your complete and unique understanding of chiropractic as a science and as an art. I will especially miss your stories, that smile that puts the twinkle in your eyes, "don't move and don't breathe," and my absolute favorite, "uff da!" You have been a devoted family friend and my personal mentor for 22 years. Frank, our family members and I will be forever grateful to you and your wonderful Evie, who shared you with us for so many years. We hope for you heavenly peace, calm blue seas with gentle breezes, beautiful music, and most of all we "hope you dance!" Until we meet again, we love you and miss you.

You were truly the closest grandfather figure I have had in my life. I will remember fondly your war stories, your chiropractic adjustments that kept me feeling healthier and happier, and your appreciation for wine. You inspired me to learn about wine, try different types, and enjoy it. You were a great storyteller, a patriot, and a wonderful conversationalist. A kind heart full of love for your wife. You enriched many lives, and I enjoyed every moment of your company. Love you always and I will see you again.
