Alan lost his four year battle with cancer on Fri 8-3-2012 at home, with his wife and daughter at this side. Alan is survived by wife Judy, daughter Lisa Baker, mother Winnie Raney, two sisters, Wyoma Mullins, Janet Watson and brother Dennis Raney. He was preceded in death by brothers Joe Marshall, Alfred Raney and father Ray Raney.
Alan served in the US Air Force where he trained in computers. He continued that career path for 35 years at Foster Farms where he made many life time friends. He loved being near the water, on his Harley, and finally cruising in his red Vette.
He had a great sense of humor. He was always the life of the party and he will be deeply missed by family and friends. The party will never be the same.
A graveside service will be held Wed Aug 8 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at the Fruit Yard following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be sent to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto 95356.
