

Born on July 11, 1951, in Modesto, California, Billie grew up in Riverbank before settling in Oakdale in the early 1970s with her husband and daughters. Kind-hearted and full of warmth, Billie touched the lives of everyone she met. She was known for her unwavering love for her family, her resilience through life's challenges, and her ability to bring joy and laughter wherever she went.
Billie is survived by her beloved daughters, Kimberly Reece and Christine Reece; her cherished granddaughters, Alyssa Isaia (Stephen Presley) and Hannah Vaughn; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Levi Presley, Ronan Presley, and Harper Presley.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, Thomas Reece; her parents, Junior D. Gibson and Della Lorene Gibson (Williams); and her sisters, Margaret McCue and Brenda Reece.
In addition to her roles as a loving wife, mother, and "Nanny," Billie dedicated many years working in the local canneries from 1970 until her retirement in 2009. A testament to her determination, she returned to school and proudly earned her G.E.D. in 1990.
Billie was truly the heart of her home and family. The memories of Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings she hosted will be cherished and deeply missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service to celebrate Billie’s life will be held on May 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, California. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
Billie will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
