Don passed away in Modesto on Dec 18, 2013. He was 80. Don was born in Modesto on May 23, 1933 to Ralph & Glenna Sanders. He lived in the area his entire life. He was an outstanding athlete at Ceres High School and Stanford University. Don was a well respected Real Estate Broker for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Lelia in 1999. Also by his parents and his younger brother Glen. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Haglund (Steve) and his son Jeff. Also by his brother Jim Sanders (Bonnie), his sister Diane Boulware and sister in law CJ Sanders. He was very proud of his grandsons Clint (Stephanie) and Easton (Jillian) and his three great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all of his extended family.
There will be a celebration of his life held on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Lakewood Funeral Home Heritage Chapel in Hughson at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to Central Catholic High School, Foundation Memorial Fund, 200 S. Carpenter Road, Modesto, CA 95351.
