Dorothy McDonald, 84, passed away on January 26, 2012 after a brief illness. She was a Modesto resident for more than 50 years and had moved to Contra Costa County in 2007 to be near her niece.
She was a former employee of Gallo Glass Company and a member of the Eastern Star in Milton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin "Mac" McDonald, in 1999 and by her sister, Florence Hanaman, in 2010. She is survived by her niece, Jennifer Jennings, nephew, James Jennings and devoted family friend, Erin Heinlein.
No service will be held at Dorothy's request. She was interred at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson next to her husband.
