Eloise Marjorie "Margie" Olson was born June 12, 1923, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to L. Harlan & Eva Olson, missionaries to Central and South America. She graduated in Medellin, Columbia, in 1942.
Margie married Earl Brock in 1948. They had seven children: Twila, Harlan, Kenneth, Gary, Clifford, Sonia, and Mario. Margie had 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Earl in 1997 and Kenneth in
2021.
Active in the Salida and Parkwood Seventh-Day Adventist churches, Margie played the piano and served in the Pathfinder Club for over 50 years. Margie worked hard at many jobs and also loved music, travel, swimming, the outdoors, and crafts.
Visitation: 4 pm — 8 pm July 13 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson.
Interment: 10 am July 14 in Los Banos Cemetery.
Memorial: 2 pm July 30 at Parkwood Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Modesto.
