Emma Denise, was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic church, she loved to contribute to events that the church would organize. She attended Stanislaus State where she graduated with a sociology major.
Denise always had a caring heart, as a young women before she decided to get married she was a Foster Mother, with one of her good friends, she enjoyed helping the children. Denise spent her life helping others, she was a social worker for most of her life, she was loving, hard working and caring. Her passion to take care of other's was genuine she would do everything she could to help everyone. She always put everyone's needs before her own. Something else she enjoyed doing was reading and rescuing animals.
Denise is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steven Chavez; her daughter Mary Chavez, her son in law David Gonzalez and her aunt Barbara Ott.
Denise was preceded in death by her mother Mary King; her father Douglas King and her step mother Karlene King.
A funeral service for Denise will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home - Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA.
