Frieda, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, entered into rest peacefully on October 4th, surrounded by her beloved family members. Frieda was born in Farmersburg, Iowa and moved to Modesto in 1938. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Bernard Allan Cooke, and her parents Fritz and Lena (Meyer) Ihde of Waterford, CA. Frieda was a homemaker and seamstress, who loved to sing in the church choir and crochet. She is survived by her 3 children, Lois J. Cypert of Bakersfield, CA, Carol (Doug) Tolleson of Hilmar, CA, Jerry Cooke of Ceres, CA as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was a treasure to us all and will be truly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, October 19th at Grace Lutheran Church, 617 W. Orangeburg Ave., Modesto.
