Genevieve M Taylor

Genevieve M. Taylor born October 18, 1919 in Sutton, Nebraska to John & Mildred Kissler, passed peacefully on May 21, 2017 in Modesto. Childhood years were spent in Nebraska moving with the family to California during the dust bowl settling in Ceres. While working in the cannery, she met the love of her life, Dale. After the birth of their third son she dedicated herself to home and family. A wonderful cook and great homemaker she was always willing to lend a helping hand. Genevieve was a long time member of the Methodist Church.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold and James, sister Viola, husband Dale, and sons Donald and John.

Survived by son, Tim, daughter-in-law Arlene, grandsons Tony (Mary) and Vince, great-grandchildren Josh (Rachel), Jake, Blake and Brooke; great-great granddaughter Madison, sister-in-law Audrey Kissler and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Viewing is on Tuesday, May 30, 4 to 8 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home. Service is on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10 am at Lakewood Funeral Home.
