The funeral service will be held at 12:30PM, October 22, 2016 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California 95326. Pastor Steve LaFarge of Grace Community Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held 12:00PM, October 22, 2016 at Lakewood Memorial Park just prior to the funeral service.
Hazel Faye was born in Lenna, Oklahoma on March 16, 1928. She was married to Ray Thompson on June 16, 1944; they were married 72 years.
Hazel Faye worked as a teacher's assistant for John F Kennedy Center for 20 years. She enjoyed attending her bible study group, shopping, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her many family members. Hazel Faye is survived by her spouse Ray Thompson, daughters Sharon Wilson and Gail Cope and husband Danny Cope, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Hazel Faye is preceded in death by her mother Neva Ogden, father Roy Ogden, and brother Melvin Ogden.
