Helen Lucille Silva went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was born in Peabody, Kansas on February 15, 1924 and resided in Modesto, California. She was a faithful member at Crosspoint Church. She had a child daycare for many years. She also retired from Motor Parts Distributor with her husband Frank Silva, which is still thriving to this day!
Her hobbies were gardening, being outdoors, bowling, cooking, and fitness. She always had so much energy and was full of love and life. Children and being around her family were most important to her.
Helen is preceded in death by her mom Sara Delk, dad Henry Buckmiller, husband Frank Silva, five brothers, four sisters, and three granddaughters. She is survived by daughter Von Deen (Jerry), grandsons Gerald (Kathy) and Michael (Crystal), granddaughter Courtney, and great grandchild Ethan.

Her celebration of life is Thursday, April 21, at 4 p.m. at The Fruit Yard 7948 Yosemite Boulevard.
