James Costa, 89, accepted God's call to return home on Sunday, July 6, 2014 while his loving wife Otilia was by his side. James was born on November 20, 1924 in Pawtucket, RI and was the oldest of his brother and sister. He was an Army veteran who fought in the Pacific during WWII. Upon his return, he married and spent the next 67 years with Otilia. During that time he worked then retired from the aircraft industry and then spent his later years in the service of their church, our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Modesto. James will be laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, CA. He survived by his wife Tillie and son David James Costa.
